Give to BCCA through

Bakersfield Community Concert Association has joined Give Big Kern, the county’s first annual online day of giving hosted by the Kern Community Foundation. Give Big Kern aims to support local nonprofit organizations by encouraging philanthropy and generosity among companies and individuals. Give Big Kern was held on May 3, 2016 during Give Local America day in an effort to inspire people to “give where you live” and support any of the 100+ participating organizations. Kern County Musical Association dba Bakersfield Community Concert Association is proud to be part of this special event in the hopes of engaging new donors to support art and culture in Kern County.

Help BCCA make Give Big Kern a success by encouraging people to donate! Visit: Kern County Musical Association to view BCCA’s giving page and share it on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and email. Like BCCA on Facebook by visiting bfldcca on Facebook and check the page regularly.

Give Big to Bakersfield Community Concert Association Consider donating any amount through the BCCA’s Give Big Kern page to support our students. BCCA arranges for the artists to go to the various schools in Kern County to perform for and teach the students. We also have student groups come to our concerts and perform before the shows which allows the students to gain experience performing before an audience. It allows the students to see that music is still appreciated. They are also encouraged to stay and attend the concert and learn more about the arts.

Donations large and small will help the BCCA make Give Big Kern day a success for our concert association. Give Big Kern creates a unique opportunity for BCCA to increase its visibility in the community and reach new donors, supporters, and visitors. Make Give Big Kern a success for the BCCA by sharing the giving page, liking and sharing BCCA’s Facebook posts, and donating between now and May 3rd. Every share, like, and penny counts!

Purchase season tickets only through the BCCA. Sales of tickets are not authorized on other internet websites. Specific seat locations cannot be guaranteed.

Limited reciprocity with certain other associations is available. An example is the Indian Wells Valley Concert Association in Ridgecrest. For concerts in Lancaster contact the Antelope Valley Community Concert Association.
